Finance Manager – Family Office (Beirut, Lebanon)

We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to join a private family office based in Beirut. The role is ideal for a Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with Big Four audit background, strong financial governance exposure, and hands-on experience transitioning from audit into finance or advisory roles.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, controls, budgeting, cash management, and advisory support across the family’s operating entities and investments. This role requires absolute discretion, strong judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a confidential, high-trust environment.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Ensure accurate general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial close processes
• Review and validate financial data across multiple entities and structures
• Develop financial dashboards and management reports for principals and senior stakeholders

Audit, Compliance & Governance

• Leverage prior Big Four audit experience to ensure strong internal controls and governance frameworks
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banks, legal advisors, and tax consultants
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and statutory filings
• Support internal reviews, audits, and risk assessments

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital across entities
• Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making

Advisory & Strategic Support

• Provide financial and commercial insights on investments, operating businesses, and new initiatives
• Support due diligence, financial modeling, and scenario analysis when required
• Assist in structuring, intercompany transactions, and process optimization

Process Improvement & Controls

• Design and enhance financial processes, policies, and SOPs
• Implement best practices in reporting, documentation, and control environments
• Drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across finance operations

Education & Certification

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s a huge plus)

Professional Experience

• 5–7 years of experience, ideally:
  
  • Big Four audit (Manager/Senior Manager level), with exposure to complex clients
  • Followed by or combined with experience in finance, advisory, or family office / holding structures
• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and complex structures is highly preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Strong understanding of controls, risk, and governance frameworks

• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities
• Clear communicator with senior stakeholders and advisors
